It has come to my attention that for some period of time a large number of unsolicited email messages ("spam") was being sent with "lberg@ventoux.com" as the return address (in the From: header). If you received such email, please examine the full headers in the message (particularly, the "Received: from" header) using your email program (e.g.: View / Headers / Full) and you will see that the email did not actually originate from any computer or user in the VENTOUX.COM domain but from some other site.

I have reported this to my Internet Service Provider and have asked the responsible parties to stop sending email using this false return path.

I would appreciate it if you would take action against these spammers, using the information in the headers or in the messages about the actual sources of this spam, through whatever means you have available, such as forwarding such messages (with full headers) to your ISP.
